Bridging the Gap

Experience working with the professional design community (architects, engineers, and construction managers) enables Parlights to integrate the Theatre Systems developed for our customers into construction and renovation projects as a whole.  Our approach to installations as a Stage Equipment Contractor is part of the value that we bring to every job.   Construction and Theatre are very different businesses, and through our understanding of both the construction process and stage equipment Parlights provides our customers with a bridge between two potentially conflicting worlds.

Understanding the Project

The process begins by establishing project parameters: 

q       What does the system need to do? (Minimum and maximum parameters)

q       How experienced is the operator?

q       What are the existing or proposed capacities of the facility and related infrastructure?

q       What is the budget?

Designing the System

After working with the customer and design team to answer these questions, a proposal and budgetary estimate are developed for initial review.  The proposal is modified as required until the outline for the final system is defined.   Complete specifications and drawings for the project are then developed, and integrated into the work of other trades as required.
