Developing A Plan

Properly identifying requirements and limitations are critical to the success of any theatrical renovation or construction project. Developing a clear plan for the Theatrical Lighting and Rigging Systems from the beginning will help ensure the finished product measures up.

Designing the System

The process begins by establishing project parameters:

  • What does the system need to do? (Minimum and maximum parameters)
  • What is the experience level of the operator?
  • What are the existing or proposed capacities of the facility and related infrastructure?
  • What is the budget?

After working directly with the customer and design team, both a proposal and budgetary estimate are developed for initial review. The proposal is modified as required until the outline for the final system is clearly defined. Complete specifications and drawings for the project are then created as the team begins the process for project execution.
